How to post a task on Cochrane Engage
- Log in to Cochrane Engage
- Click Post a task button
- If your profile is not shared, you'll see a banner at the top. Click on the link to share your profile. If you don't see a banner, this means your profile is shared.
- Complete task template with details of your task
- Make the Description as detailed as possible - what help do you need exactly?
- You can add up to 3 attachments. Files should be no bigger than 10mb
- Help people to find your task easily - select the relevant health topic or choose "other", and select the skills you are looking for. Please only select relevant skills - do not choose skills that are not directly needed.
- If you have a core role in a Cochrane Group or if you're currently active as a Cochrane author, you'll have the option to check a box to mark your task as related to Cochrane. You can also add details of which group / author team you're a part of.
- Choose how you will reward your volunteer(s) - Membership points are allocated automatically but you can also choose to offer an acknowledgement or authorship
- Describe your ideal applicant clearly to avoid unwanted applications
- Choose the date you need the task completed by
- You can save your task as a draft and come back to it later, but please note you need to complete the required fields (marked with *) you can edit these later.
- If you're a core member of a group or if you're currently active as a Cochrane author, you can click on the Publish this task button. Otherwise please click on the Submit for publication button. We aim to check all tasks submitted for publication within 2 working days. Your task will either be published or you will receive comments from our moderation team.
