Cochrane Interactive Learning is an online introductory course on how to conduct a systematic review of interventions.

 

These instructions are for users who have access to Cochrane Interactive Learning via their organisation. You will need to:

• Create a Cochrane Account - if you do not already have one
• Subscribe to Cochrane Interactive Learning

 

Subscribe to Cochrane Interactive Learning with IP access

1. Go to https://www.cochrane.org/learn/courses-and-resources/interactive-learning  You need to be within your organisation's IP range when registering on this page for the first time 

2. Click "Subscribe or Renew " 

3. On the pricing page, if your organisation is using EZproxy, you will see a warning message. Please click on the link in the notification banner to reload the page.

4. Click Log in or create an account

5. If you already have a Cochrane Account, log in on the account login page. Go to section 9 below.

6. If you do not have a Cochrane Account, click SIGN UP NOW on the account login page and complete the sign-up form. 

7. Look out for an email entitled 'Cochrane Account: action required' which contains a link to activate your account. Please check your junk or spam folder in case this is misdirected.

8. When you have activated your account, you will return to the Cochrane Interactive Learning pricing page. 

9.You will see a message confirming that you have access to Cochrane Interactive Learning through your university.
The university's branding will appear above this message. Please tick "I accept the terms and conditions", then click "Subscribe"

 

 

 

10. You will return to the main module page, select a module and click on Start module  to begin learning. 

 

 

11. Remember to log in every time you access Cochrane Interactive Learning. You won't need to subscribe again until your subscription expires. 
12.While your subscription is valid, you can access the modules from any device. You do not need to be within your organisation's IP range.
We recommend bookmarking this link: https://www.cochrane.org/learn/courses-and-resources/interactive-learning for access. 

13.When your subscription expires, you will need to re-register from within your organisation's IP range to renew your subscription. 

 

Cochrane Interactive Learning: user guide

• You can work through the content at your own pace. There is no requirement to go through each module in any order. You can work through the course or choose your essential topics.
• You can work on the modules from your laptop, tablet or phone.
• Each module begins with a brief 'How to use this module' section, which shows you how to navigate around the content, bookmark favourites for reference when you need them, and filter content to find the most relevant topics for you.

 

 

• When you have completed a module and passed the assessment you will be able to download a certificate, available from the 'Certificates' button.
