The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews in the Cochrane Library is a living database of systematic reviews of health evidence that aims to be comprehensive across health topics. The selection of topics for which complete Cochrane Reviews are available at any time is determined by a combination of volunteer interest and energy, editorial resources, and priorities established by consultation with a variety of stakeholders.

Stakeholders who have identified an unanswered research question are welcome to submit a topic proposal in their area of interest. All topic proposals are subject to review, amendment, and acceptance or refusal at the discretion of Cochrane editorial leadership following their assessment of appropriateness, applicability, and required resources.
